Saltuswood Gap is a beautiful, isolated region nestled in the heart of a vast and ancient forest.

Very few people visit Saltuswood, but those that do are often changed by the experience. Such travellers return to the outside world bringing vague descriptions of strange encounters and bearing a distant demeanour, as though a part of their mind remains in the forest.

Some observers believe these people are lucky to have seen what they have seen. Others believe the opposite. In any case, everyone who knows anything about Saltuswood Gap agrees that something unusual is happening beneath its trees.
